Muscular System Anatomy for Bodybuilding

The Muscular System is a complex system...and the largest within the human body. It is composed of three muscle types...

  • Skeletal Muscle
  • Smooth Muscle
  • Cardiac Muscle

Its primary function is to move the body and maintain posture...and or move materials through the body, which is controlled through the nervous system. Although, some muscles...such as the cardiac muscle are completely autonomous.

The purpose of this guide is not to teach you all the details and intricacies involving the Muscular Anatomy...nor do I intend to try to explain it all. Not to mention, you may fall asleep at your computer trying to follow all the medical terminology.

The purpose of this guide is to give you a general guideline to the Human Body and all of its Body Parts and Muscle Groups. Gaining some appreciation into Muscular Anatomy will help you train harder and smarter. In the end...the goals is that you become a more well rounded bodybuilder who knows their stuff...
